Company Background
Printer Head Refurbishing is a company established with the sole purpose of refurbishing dot-matrix printer heads. Rolf Magg and Joggie Blignaut formed the company in February 2008 to provide the dealer channel (solely) with superior quality refurbished dot-matrix printer heads together with consistent service levels.

PRINTER HEAD REFURBISHING

Printer head refurbishing is a process in which a faulty dot-matrix printer head is stripped to its last component. All the components are cleaned in a special chemical solution. After the first inspection, all worn-out parts like guides, pins and cables are replaced with new ones. Spot welding and silver brazing equipment is used in this process. The printer head is then reassembled and the second level inspection is carried out where an extensive test process is assessed ensuring “no failures” and a top quality product.
